How can I request an assignment or module extension?

At Nexford, we’re partly powered by tech, which means that we are automated in areas. This means that it’s hard to allow for extensions. Faculty can only grant you an extension if you fall into the following categories:

• You, a spouse, significant other, or close family member (parent, child) have a significant illness (not simply a cold!). This requires a doctor's note

• Hospitalization

• Death in the family

• Natural disaster

• Lengthy power outage – we may require documentation for this

• Verified religious practices

If you’re going to be travelling, you can always complete your work in advance or request an Incomplete (if you’re in Module 5 onwards) from faculty, which will give you 16 extra days. Please contact your faculty member if you feel an extension applies to you: faculty@nexford.org.
