To ensure that you are set up for success in the MBA program, you have been accepted into our Advanced Business Foundations Certificate (FND5000).
- FND5000 has 4 courses and it aims to enhance your understanding of essential business concepts required for a graduate-level business degree.
- You are required to pass the FND5000 to be accepted to the MBA Program. You'll gain a certificate of completion and you don't have to re-apply for the MBA program.
- You'll take a total of 16 courses within 18 months - or even faster if you maintain a high GPA.
Our Advanced Business Foundations (FND5000) includes 4 courses:
BUS 5001 – Business Communication for Leaders and Managers (www.nexford.edu/courses/business-communication-managers)
BUS 5002 – Business Concepts (www.nexford.edu/courses/business-concepts)
BUS 5003 – Business Environment (www.nexford.edu/courses/business-environment)
BUS 5004 – Business Strategy (www.nexford.edu/courses/business-strategy)
You can start with 1 to 2 courses. Once we’ve received your transcript from your previous institution, we can increase your courses to a maximum of 3 courses if you are meeting the GPA requirement.
- GPA of 3 - Consistently take 2 courses each term and you can complete the program in 16 to 18 months.
- GPA of 3.5 - Consistently take 3 courses each term after your first term and you can complete the program in 14 months.
